I am wondering if a full deployment project of a financial package is really easier with a cloud solution compared to an On premise. In my experience, On premise implementation have proven tools and templates to assist with the implementation, and this is not the case for most of the new cloud vendors in this space. Thoughts and guidance welcome !

We've interviewed many customers over the years in both situations. I would say that implementation for the more established cloud financials vendors--NetSuite, Intacct, etc. is definitely simplified and streamlined.

I'd suggest ignoring the "cloud" tag and look at the product its self. In general it’s easier and cheaper to roll out cloud applications for the IT department, but from a user point of view the application its self will dictate how hard it is to use implement and use.

Cloud ERP often delivers better performance than on-premise solutions. It is easy to manage projects.
