I came across a post which states “We are using CRM software for sales and related activities. However we are not growing our business, our executives are finding this software very cumbersome and difficult to work upon. I'm in a fix whether to keep using this solution as we have invested in to this or to go for some simple, cost effective CRM software”?Is your CRM easy-to-use?What factors you consider while evaluating the CRM solution whether it is easy-to-use?

When it came time for my group to switch from Seibel to Microsoft CRM Online, I found it very easy to get started and really learn how to use it - the Outlook integration was probably the key in how quickly I ramped up. I also found the CRM Online Video Gallery to be helpful in figuring out how to do customizations and set up workflows: http://smb.ms/blSlPl
Hope that helps!

Having worked in many organisations and run sales teams large to small I have experience of using /managnig teams using various CRM systems and also have been involved from sales management in migrating between systems.I would comment firstly that its a combination of the CRM system and its system design for your company that makes the difference and the ease and cost effectiveness of doing this and how easy it is to change yourself. From past experience I have used Siebel, Salesforce, Netsuite and Sugar. Salesforce I would still say has come out on top in both large and company usage I have had, Siebel was a real costly exercise and we ended up using spreadsheets after a great deal of consultancy spend, Netsuite is better but inflexible to change and Sugar whilst cheap is not robust enough. From feedback from customers I would also suggest considering Workbooks - link below.

Thank You All, for your valuable inputs.IMHO, Findingthe right CRM solution that meets your requirements is one thing but getting yourteam to use it efficiently is a challenge. Technology alone cannot win useracceptance. The User Experience, or how easy it is for the end-user to navigateand use is the key to acceptance. While choosing a CRM for your organization youneed to focus on who the end-users are. And what they are trying to do. Mostimportantly how effectively and easily they can work with the new software willdetermine whether the software gets used at all.
You will be able to grow your business only when you have aproductive workforce, empowered with a simple, fast and easy-to-use CRM system.Handling CRM business processes with an easy-to-navigate interface is not onlyextremely convenient, but it also saves you time and money.
Welcome to the brand new look of Impel CRM, where we’ve put thepower of CRM directly in your hands. The more user-friendly, more “active”interface enables you to get your sales and marketing tasks done faster andmore efficiently. The default screens are laid out to give you access to onlythe fields that you would require most often. The pages have a clean feel withsimple menus and no confusing icons so that even occasional users can use thesystem without any training.
