Is Salesforce the best CRM option for a small business needing remote access for its users?

I am reading in a Mashable article that Salesforce is one of the best tool for SMBs. One of the argument is that it lets any user to log in from anywhere and it has comprehensive free apps for iPods, iPhones and iPads. Staying staying connected on the go is important for most users in my company but Salesforce is very expensive. Can someone point me to another CRM solution that offers good remote access options?
Thanks
Eric

Hi Eric,

You may want to have a look at Workbooks. Workbooks is a web-based CRM solution, targeted specifically at small and medium sized businesses. The solution is extremely intuitive and easy to use and as with Salesforce, as long as you have an internet connection, you are able to gain access to your data from anywhere.

Test drive Workbooks for yourself by signing up to a 30 Day Free Trial on our website, or alternatively dive straight in to Workbooks with the ‘Instant Access Demo

Another tool to look at is Microsoft CRM Online. There’s one version of the CRM including sales, marketing and service – so you know the price point to get all the features. You can purchase additional storage, but it does come with 5GB. There is seamless integration with Outlook and mobile devices and the offline sync will allow you to still work when there’s not internet connection.

Although the website doesn’t mention – there is a current promotion through December 23rd for CRM Online (US and Canada only). The price/user has been reduced and no user minimum. To get more details, sign up for the 30-day trial and a MS CRM rep will contact you. This link will help: http://smb.ms/Outreachb2XXar

Hi Eric,

I recommend that you take a look at Luxor CRM. It offers the same features and functionality as Salesforce's enterprise edition yet it is half the price.

I completely agree with you that being able to stay connected while on the go is extremely important expecially for small businesses striving to generate more leads and business. Luxor CRM offers mobile access allowing all users to access their personal and co-workers' calendar, view appointments and to-dos, and view specific contact details.

I'd love to learn more about your specific requirements, so please feel free to email me at: ckaftalovich@luxorcrm.com. In the meantime, take a look at Luxor CRM by going to www.luxorcrm.com You can learn more about its features, see videos and book a live demo.

Best of luck with your search,

Corie

Hello.I would like to recommend to take a look at ADIOS Software Cloud. Here's the description from their site:
ADIOS is a software cloud solution with a bunch of well-designed products for various segments of business. Does not matter which type of business you run, ADIOS can help you. You can install any available software in your ADIOS account or we can create a software tailored exactly for your business.
They have products for: - Project Management & invoicing - Manitoo - CRM - SalesHero - Email Marketing - Courier - or they can build an on-demand solution for you to cover your specific needs (they get out from the fact that completely universal solution is not doable - each company has some special processes)
Another important note - ADIOS is currently completely free.
