Is there a tool to help me manage workforce based in different locations?

I have workers in different bases, working for different clients. Today I am managing them through a spreadsheet, but it is being a bit painful. Anyone recommends a good tool or another method that could help me?

A lot will depend on the type of work you are manging and how many employees you are talking about, but here are a few options.

Basecamp - one of the most well known and popular online project management suites. Can be a bit pricey.

Paymo - nice interface and good reports for a pretty good price.

Trello - I've been using this for my team for a while now. It is great for task tracking. And it is at the best price...free.

There are many others, but I hope this helps a little in your search.

What you are looking for can be accomplished through heaps of cloud-based software solutions. The previous answer are definitely a good list to start with, but finding the right solution can be a little bit daunting (there are so many options out there, all who claim to be the best).

If you provide some more insight into the specific needs you are looking for, I would be happy to recommend a piece of software well suited for your business. We can also have this discussion via emai if you would like - feel free to reach out to me at daniel@vm-associates.com

Thanks!

Hi, Catanonia.

You can give a try to Synchroteam - Mobile Workforce Management. It looks perfectly like what you are looking for.
You can also try Loc8 or Autotask or discover more applications for Field Service Management in our dedicated listing.

Hope I could help you,
Diego Dacal.

Daniel@vm is right... it's very hard to recommend a solution based on what you said. There are so many options out there, each with its own pros and cons. You need to understand your workflows and needs before deciding on the best solution. Throwing out a recommendation blindly isn't that helpful...
