Could you describe the key differences between Shared Hosting and Cloud Computing (if any besides marketing )? Is there a real cost difference in the long run ? Will i get a better level of services ?

Cloud hosting can be considered as the new generation of shared hosting where instead of sharing multiple clients, applications and websites on a single physical machine, data centers host multiple clients, applications and web sites on any physical server part of a large "farm" of machines, interconnected through high speed networking solutions and leveraging virtualization technology to distribute operations across multiple node.
