I need online software where I can enter new clients. Enter the tasks I will be performing for them. Then when each task is complete client receives email. Maybe they can log in themselves and check status and also communicate.Is there such a thing? is this CRM or project management?ThanksJC

You may want to check out BaseCamp. Not sure if they have all the features you're looking for, but I know they allow different levels of admins, etc.

You may give http://highrisehq.com/ a try. They seem to offer one of the easiest solutions for CRM.Recenly http://www.teamlab.com/coming-soon.aspx has also launched CRM module. Though it's only a beta version it looks promising.
