We have been using Quickbooks for several years now and as our company has grown quite a bit since then, we are thinking to upgrade our current Quickbooks system to a more complete ERP/accounting platform. We are looking at alternatives and NetSuite seems a popular choice. Does anyone has experience to share with us ? How complex is the migration process ? How long does it usually take ?thanks for any pointers...

You might like to look at workbooks also as a viable alternative, built as an online service from the ground up and one I have heard great things about.

Yes, in a heartbeat. I became a NetSuite customer in 1999 and grew my business revenue by 500% with NetSuite. Full disclosure - I sold my business in June. I could have retired but decided instead to create a new company to sell NetSuite. Again - full disclosure. I'm not selling NetSuite by accident, I'm selling it because I want to help other business owners that were in my situation become successful.I won't be up and running until October 1st. I've just started to build a web site, www.suiteup.com. There is a rudimentary lead form on the site. Fill it out and I'd be happy to share my thoughts in further detail.Chris

Having used Netsuite, Siebel and Salesforce in varying companies I would say the best overall experience consistenly for my sales teams has been salesforce.

Jim from Toronto,The best software is Netsuite and it is not difficult to import data from QB to Netsuite. I can tell you all the nice things about Netsuite because I am not only using it from last 5 years but also selling, implementing and supporting it. I worked directly for Netsuite and then left to start my own company in partnership with Netsuite. I am sure you would have questions but do not hesitate to ask them. If you know your business has potential but you are not able to use just because of the traditional infrastructure and the applications with limitations, then the answer is Netsuite. Someone who grew like 500% is not the only one, I have many many examples for you. Contact me for any help, www.suiteskies.com.
